Hugged in the folds of the Vredefort Dome Bergland, the tranquil little guestfarm Knopberg provides comfortable self-catering accommodation and entertains visitors with unique views of the Vaal River valley, beautiful sun-sets, a variety of indigenous trees and a range of local birds. Knopberg borders the Vaal River in close proximity of the historical Venterskroon Town where gold was mined towards the end of the 19th century.

A private hide-away cottage with a double bed and small kitchenette. Including an ensuite bathroom boasting a Victorian bath with a glass ceiling for bathing under the stars, as well as a luxury outdoor-shower under a peach tree. With it’s own verande, boma and amazing views. Linen, towels and braai wood are provided.
This unit comprises of the Bird, Donkey & Windmill Rooms. The original farmhouse that has been authentically renovated, offering three twin rooms with single beds; two bathrooms one with a shower and one with a bath; including a dollhouse-like kitchen connected to a small living room with a fireplace and extending onto a shady veranda with beautiful mountain views. Linen and towels for all rooms, as well as wood, is provided.
This unit comprises of the Word Room, Pomegrante Family Unit, and double suites – Wild Olive & Butterfly. This house has its own entrance and boma to braai. Allowing all rooms access to the shared kitchen and main living area of the house. Including a living room with a fireplace and DSTV. Linen and towels for all rooms, as well as wood, is provided.
